Kelly Schrader was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, but after obtaining a BFA in Studio Arts and a BA in Art History from Virginia Tech, they moved to the Midwest. Since then, they have been developing explorations into found objects, fiber arts, and conceptual projects to create a cohesive body of work. Schrader recently moved back to the east coast, and now resides in North Carolina.
